I’ve finally got round to posting a Report and the News from
the last month’s Kames Rally at Muirkirk! Yes, I know it’s somewhat overdue,
but I was pretty involved in the McRae and then Mull rallies, so that’s my
excuse.

Anyway, the highlight of the day, for me at least, was the
Flying Doctor’s self-made lemon drizzle cake available for sampling in the
Junior 1000 tent. I don’t know if Steven is planning a career switch from
co-driving to cake making, but having seen the Mr Kipling of co-driving him
with maps and notes, my money’s on the cake business. Lovely icing!
