Apparently, the last stage of the day, Special Stage 8, Drummond Hill has been cancelled due to "deteriorating conditions." The decision was taken on safety grounds because of dense mist and rain.
So posiytions at the end of the day in the International event show Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda) in the lead with a 50 second cushion over Juho Hanninen (Skoda) who has a one second lead over Bryan Bouffier (Peug).
David Bogie is 10th but still 10 seconds behind the Lancer of Jarko Nikara.
In the National event, Wayne Sisson leads John McClory by 25 seconds with Donnie MacDonald a further 5 seconds behind.
However, I'm puzzled by the decision. Conditions were worse on last weekend's McRae Rally so the only difference this week is the darkness, or maybe there is even more mud around since it didn't have a chance to dry up during the week.
Anyway, I will try and find out more as cars book into Parc Ferme tonight
