Next year’s Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games has a new supporter and partner following the announcement that Ford Motor Company will supply over 1100 vehicles for use during the Games.
A variety of Ford cars and MPVs will also support the
Queen’s Baton Relay which takes to the highways and byways of Scotland in June
when it returns from its current 190,000 km, 248-day international commonwealth
tour.
Ford vehicles will then convey the Baton and its support team the
length and breadth of the country throughout the 40-day domestic leg before it
arrives back in Glasgow for the Opening Ceremony.
Ford will also become an Official Partner of Team Scotland, Team
England, Team Wales and Team Northern Ireland, and will support the Games with
a wide range of vehicles, including Ford Focus, Ford C-MAX, Ford S-MAX, Ford
Galaxy and Ford Tourneo.
