Road - Trial by Honda

I missed out on the British round of the World Trials Championship last month (28/29 July) which was staged at Nord Vue near Penrith, just down the road in fact from where the late and much loved Bill Troughear lived.

The event was won by twelve-time world champion, Toni Bou, and both he and his Repsol Montesa Honda World Trials team mate Takahisa Fujinami stopped off at Honda’s UK Head Office in Slough on their way back home to the team’s base in Spain. As you know Honda manufacture the Montesa Honda trials bikes, hence the stop-off.

Anyway the team mesmerised the staff at Honda HQ with a scintillating display of skills and tricks both inside the office building and outside in the car park.
