Thank goodness Pirelli showed a bit of class at the weekend
for the American GP. There wasn’t a baseball hat to be seen as the winners
celebrated in proper Texan style on the podium.
Surely the baseball hat is the most gormless, tasteless
form of headgear devised by man since he slapped an ivy leaf on his bits.
In contrast to this 'traditional' American icon of manly fashion, Lady
Gaga looked almost demure wearing her breakfast when she wore that tasteful
ensemble inspired by Waynetta Slob spilling her bacon roll down her front.
Mind you, even an American stetson doesn’t come close to a
proper jaggy-tweed bunnet!
