Rally - Easy pleased

One can’t help but be impressed by the levels of preparation that many Targa crews undertake prior to a rally. Take Gavin Gray and Colin MacKay for instance. They arrived on the island with a car. Then they looked (glanced?) at the Regs, had a look at other folks’ cars and equipment and asked a few questions about Targa rules and requirements. At this point, realisation was beginning to dawn on them so they set about acquiring the essentials. Colin went to Brown’s of Tobermory and bought a watch – with extra buttons on it! He was fair chuffed with his choice. They actually finished 21st overall, no bad, eh?
