This weekend marks the final two
rounds of the Prestone British Championship and David Bogie and John Rowan are
still in with a shout of the British title if they win both and beat Matt Edwards.
No pressure then, eh? “I only did two runs at the shakedown this morning,” said
David, “the engine feels fine and the brakes are good, so job done. Anyway, by
the time we got here the world boys had left the stage well worn so two runs
was enough. Mind you, it as unusual to see the WRC teams doing so many runs,
they normally do one or two, but they were doing 4 and 5 this morning. So that
says something about the conditions they are anticipating.”
