There was some good crack at yesterday’s
Rally Car Test Day at Dundrennan and a goodly turn out of 18 cars and their drivers
most of whom were getting ready for this coming weekend’s Jim Clark festival of
rallying. Solway Car Club had organised the day and the only thing better than the
weather was the sandwiches and cakes.
Mind you, I do wonder about the sanity of some drivers.
According to Richard Dickson the tyres pictured here: “Are good for a few miles
yet – they’ve still got tread on the edges!”
