There were four Den
Motorsport built Escorts in the final top six places overall at the end
of the weekend’s Mach 1 Stages Rally, but for all their rally expertise
and passion, there was no disguising who their real hero is. The murals on the cab of their Iveco support truck give the game away. There was another Scottish/Den connection on last month’s Circuit of Donegal Rally when Michael Dunlop drove Calum Duffy’s Den prepared car on his first rally. Apparently Michael spotted the mural, but wasn’t bothered – he’s a bit of a Guy Martin fan too!
Makes you wonder though, could Michael be tempted to sample some Mull tarmac come October?
