This general interest snippet is aimed
primarily at those of you who were so enthusiastically appreciative of the recent
news item published on these esteemed pages regarding the launch of the new
Land Rover Defender - I saw this and thought of you!
Just when you thought off-roaders were going off-trend, along comes Britain's
fashionable response to the Light Commercial Vehicle sector.
In its favour the new TX light van has a fully electric range of 80
miles or a combined petrol and EV range of 377 miles.
And if you think it looks familiar, it's built by London EV Company
(LEVC), the same folk who make the electric TX Taxi cabs of which 2500 have
been built and sold.
Make way for the revolution, eh?
