Rally - Wales underway

After a dark and damp start to Rally Wales GB earlier this morning, the sun actually broke through the clouds at Sweet Lamb to reveal multi-coloured hillsides. Huge hordes of well wrapped spectators replaced the usual flocks of sheep as the WRC gladiators swept into view.

Sebastien Ogier leads Jari-Matti Latvala after the first four tests (of 23) by 10 secs with Kris Meeke fifth behind Ostberg and Hirvonen.  Elfyn Evans was sixth after two stages, but is now seventh behind Thierry Neuville.

Euan Thorburn was 17th after the first two tests with David Bogie 23rd, Garry Pearson 49th and Tony Jardine 50th. Jonathan Greer with 'our Kirsty' was 47th. At least our lot are safely through the first two.
