It would appear that the public roads are worse than the forestry roads on tomorrow's Border Counties Rally. It took Fraser Wilson 9 hours to pull his car and trailer from Glenluce in Wigtownshire to Jedburgh earlier today, and poor Andy Horne. On his way south from Inverness this afternoon, he got as far as Dalwhinnie when the Polis turned everybody back. Even as we speak, he's making his way south again via Aberdeen!
As for the Driver's Briefing in Jedburgh Town Hall tonight, it was longer than usual, as Bill 'Lucky' Sturrock went over all his route amendments and ice warnings!
