Road - Bentley Behemoth

I suppose we’ve got overpaid footballers and egotistical film stars to thank for this latest extravagance from Bentley Motors. Although this was called a ‘concept’, the fact that Bentley chose to ‘launch’ the EXP 9 F at the Geneva Show shows some serious intent.

This luxury SUV Design Concept is based around the Bentley 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine with an 8-speed-transmission. All drivetrain options including a hybrid remain under consideration.

At the presentation, Mr. Wolfgang Duerheimer, Chairman & Chief Executive added: “While we have not made a final decision on the production of this car, Project EXP 9 F is clearly on the way.”

In other words, whether you like it or not, it’s coming to an overcrowded street near you with its ability to occupy two street parking slots simultaneously and convert two lane highways to one way streets.

A British designed HumVee with leather and a pair of dinky little football boot trinkets hanging from the rear vision mirror!
