Local boys ‘duns’ good ... For someone who stated quite
categorically before the rally that he was going for a steady run, he only went
and blew the bluidy doors off it. ‘Dangerous’ Des Campbell was 14th quickest
through the first stage – in a Peugeot 206! Robbie Pearson will be a busy boy
tonight. He smacked the nose of the Peugeot 205 on the first stage and needs
lights and lenses. Fortunately he managed to borrow a set from local Peug 205 autocrosser
Stephen Bell who was later spotted in a Coldstream pub – must have extracted an
awfy price for the bits, eh?
