Perhaps the busiest wee boy at Ingliston
was Bob Irvine. He was co-driving for Robert Cumming in the Astra which had to
contend with a number of problem solving requirements during the day. Primarily
the power steering pump failed so it was by-passed allowing them to carry on
although Robert was fair knackered by the finish. So too was Bob. In between
stages he was legging it round the DCC Stages Service area like a Big Issue
seller on bonus, flogging copies of his latest 'Scottish Rally Scene' magazine.
Would you believe it, he's now on Issue 12. He's not only the retailer, but also
the proprietor, the publisher, the content editor, chief scribe, material
