There was not just one, but two photo-finishes to
be sorted out at the end of the DCC Junior Stages Rally last weekend when Lewis
Haining and George Myatt finished the day's 8 Stages on an identical total with
Johnnie MacKay and Gordon Reid. As did Andrew Blackwood/Richard Stewart and
Riley Banks/Steven Brown for fourth. The Junior 1000 cars may lack the
spectacle and noise of the 'bigger bangers' but that enables those who appreciate
such things to concentrate more on braking points, cornering attitudes and carrying
speed. Honestly, these youngsters are well worth watching.
