The inxorable rise of popularity in the Dunlop MSA British Touring
Car Championship was revealed today at the Championship's Media Day event held at Donington Park. The
organisers revealed that they had to get permission from TOCA to run more than
the previously permitted maximum of 30 cars – they’ve got 31 confirmed entries!
The line-up includes 14 models from 11 different marques and all will be
running to the latest NGTC rules. The 30 race series across ten events at nine UK
venues gets underway at Brands Hatch on 30/31 March.
Now if only the British
Rally Championship could compete with that, eh?
