Low Fat Scotch Pie!

Proving that nothing is safe these days, Glasgow based McGhee’s Bakery have created a low fat scotch pie! Apparently it has nearly half the fat of a standard scotch pie and is lower in salt too. McGhee’s production team say their new scotch pie looks and tastes just as good as the traditional version.

It’s even got approval from the thin brigade. Jennifer Polson from Scottish Slimmers said: “The McGhee’s reduced fat scotch pies proved an instant hit with those of our members who tested them. 46% of our members told us they had decided to stop eating scotch pies altogether while they were losing weight so, now, thanks to these lighter, tastier pies they can enjoy a Scottish Slimmers style scotch pie supper with the rest of their family any time – and still get a weight loss!”

All of a sudden, joining a Scottish Slimmers group looks attractive, but whatever next, low fat Mars bar suppers.
