while walking through Barcelona airport.
Obviously the Spaniards had recognised
that Ford was launching the brand new Transit in Spain and responded with typical
Catalunyan enthusiasm.
In fact, the launch programme will continue until early
March, because after all the journalists have driven them, Europe’s dealers
will be invited out to Spain for a briefing and drive ahead of the first
deliveries.
They’re not quite on sale yet, but orders are being taken.
