There are a
few places left for rally crews who fancy something different on Friday/Saturday,
14/15 August. This year’s Hebridean Rally on the Isle of Lewis will have 10
special stages in total starting on Friday evening and the rest on Saturday and
includes two new stages this year.
However, if
you’re a miserable stick-in-the-mud don’t bother going, because the after rally
party Ceilidh dance on the Saturday night in Stornoway is not for wallflowers
and abstainers, and you’ll need to be able to ‘hooch’ loudly while dancing - and
without spilling a drop!
The event
raises money for ‘Macmillan Cancer Support - Isle of Lewis’ and so far the
organisers have raised in excess of £20,000 for the charity since they inaugurated
this unique event.
