Earlier this evening the MSA issued a directive
to rally organisers that henceforth all multi-venue rallies must run 'conventional
seeding', that is, in order of anticipated performance.
There will be no more splitting the entry into two groups with 2WD
cars at the head of the field followed by the 4WD contingent.
The reasons being cited are to do with safety following
recommendations made by the MSA Safety Observers on two recent rallies which
ran such a format. This new rule will take effect from next weekend's Border
Counties Rally (21st March).
This is the start of the New Order - get used to it. There's more
on the way.
