After 2 stages on today's Border Counties Rally, David Bogie leads from Stephen Petch by 19 seconds. Although Jock Armstrong came through the second stage, his Subaru's engine is still not right and and he has chosen to withdraw from the rally.
That puts Peter Taylor into third place 25 seconds behind Bogie followed by Andrew Gallacher, Bruce McCombie and Donnie MacDonald.
Mark McCulloch is holding a valiant seventh place. He was up late last night trying to be sick and actually fell asleep in the toilet! He's still not right and was a bit queasy this morning. I'll give you the full details in the main magazine report later in the week - but if you have a weak stomach of your own, best avoid it!
Bitter luck for Mike Faulkner. After his late night manoeuvres in the dark the Mitsubishi broke its transmission on the start line of Cardrona.
