Rally - From the BRC

The MSA British Rally Championship has issued the following statement:

Following the deaths of three people on the Jim Clark Rally, round two of the MSA British Rally Championship, and after consultation with the sport’s governing body, the Motor Sports Association, as a mark of respect to those involved, the post event production and scheduled broadcast of the television programme featuring the rally will not go ahead.

For the record, a brief and purely factual championship report of the rally will be issued once the event results are declared final. This is expected to be published on Monday 9^th June.

On instruction from the Crown Office and in support of the ongoing live Police Scotland investigation, no further comment can be made at this time.
