Continuing what's now become a tradition at the Galloway Hills, Jane Davidson was at the Final Control of the rally handing out wee tubs of locally farm produced Glen Urr ice cream to all the finishers.
Although it was disappointing to report that quite a few folk failed to finish the rally, there was one teensy weensy wee side benefit. There was ice cream left over and Jane (the ice cream chef herself) kindly handed out a few extras to those dusty, parched officials at the finish including one for the 'Motorsport News' reporter!
By goad it wis scrumptious, thick, sweet, creamy and cauld.
It must have been good, even Freddie and Patrick made sure to turn up at the finish to claim their reward after their wee problem on the first stage of the day.
