A poignant note ... As the cars rolled into Scrutineering
today there was one missing. Car 130. Chris Lawson from Otley was due to
contest his second ever Mull Rally. Having followed the rally for over 20 years
he promised himself that one day he would compete on it. That came in 2013. He
finished that rally and was delighted, and was back for more this year. Sadly
and tragically he took ill suddenly when he arrived on the island earlier this
week. He was only 41. Our thoughts must be with his family and friends.
