Paul Bird and Aled Davies won the Woodpecker at the
weekend (Steve Perez 2nd and Luke Francis 3rd) with Dave Weston Jnr and Kirsty
Riddick fourth in the Subaru Impreza WRC only 2 seconds adrift of third place,
but this was 'the boy's' first time out in the 12b car. Adopted Scot Wayne
Sissons with northern Scot, Neil Shanks, were ninth in the AMS Lancer.
Ryan Weston and Mark McCulloch finished 51st
overall and 7th in the 1400 class in their Proton
Satria, while Allan
McDowall and Gavin Heseltine failed to finish with an uncharacteristic 'off' on
the final stage in their Ford Escort RS1800.
