Phased return ... It was Garry Dickson who said it. I fancied the Border Counties Rally today but it would have been too long a day, so Kames offered the chance for some petrol, tyre and clutch fumes and a bit of mechanical cacophony instead of marching bands. It's a two day Sprint weekend so if anyone else fancies an escape from the Coronation, it's back on again here at Kames tomorrow. Real clubman motor sport. It's not rallying but it's my first event this year or as Garry said, I'm making a "phased return". There are some weel kent faces and some interesting machinery including a rear engined Clio powered by Audi. And the craic is good.
