Ford's latest E-Transit (the E stands for Electric!) Custom has a party trick up its sleeve designed to make working life easier for those who are constantly on the road. The steering wheel has a clip to hold a laptop or it can be folded flat so that you can be on-line during your lunch break.
I just hope there aren't any Scrooge-like clones out there who want to extract even more from their hard pressed employees. We'll know when the first miscreant is hauled up before the magistrate for tapping away on the laptop while stuck in traffic! Or some self employed tradesman is trying to do his VAT returns while juggling extra jobs trying to earn enough to pay for the electricity to charge up his electric van.
