Rally - King rig

Rumours in the Australian media suggest that Kris Meeke had trouble getting through the airport scanner when he tried to catch his return flight home following his superb podium finish on Rally Australia. Apparently Kris was greatly taken by the Citroen Australia 600hp Western Star ‘big rig’ which was used at the rally recce prior to the start of the rally. So much so that he tried to smuggle it back to Dungannon in his hand luggage! Just imagine that rolling in to northern Wales in November, eh.
