Rally - Shaun's way
I’ll probably get lynched for this, but maybe it will be cheaper than a one-way ticket to Switzerland.
Anyway, when Shaun Sinclair jumped into Brian Watson’s Mitsubishi, he found a wee problem. He couldn’t reach the pedals. With no wood and screws available to add blocks to the pedals, the call went out for a cushion – and this is what Chris Hamill came up with. Looking at the design one wonders did Chris embroider it himself or did he simply take a lot of care and time when choosing it?
Then there was another problem. The belts. Shaun could get the shoulder straps hooked up, but struggled with the crutch straps – and there wasn’t a Halfords with stretchy luggage elastics for miles!
