Scottish motoring journalists were amongst the first
people in the UK to drive the new Jaguar I-Pace Electric S last weekend and 'guess
who' was amongst them? Anyway, I took it for a wee birl round the countryside
and was well impressed. Two electric motors, nearly 400bhp and quicker off its
mark than Donnie MacDonald spotting a well heeled punter walking into his
showroom. This was a special treat which Jaguar had lined up for guests
attending the Jaguar sponsored Jim Clark Award last Saturday at Mar Hall. It's
quite a car, but best start saving the bawbees now.
