Matthew Wilson and Stuart Loudon were full of smiles as they
booked into the overnight halt in 22nd place in their Ford Fiesta.
“This morning’s run was easier than this afternoon,” said
Matthew, “the grip was consistent on the first run but mixed on the second. My
biggest problem is reacting to the grip levels, dry in places then really slippery
under the trees. I think we have a problem with the front left of the car,
maybe a shock absorber, it was vibrating quite a bit under braking in that last
stage.”
Stuart added: “It was a shock for both of us this morning.
The sheer pace of it. That’s some pace they are setting at the front!
