Late last night, the Scottish Rally Championship confirmed its
calendar and dates for the 2016 ARR Craib sponsored national series next year.
As expected, there are 7 all-gravel rounds including one brand new
one – note the name change from ‘Granite City’ to ‘Grampian’ - with the team
responsible for last May’s hugely successful event back in place for next year
on a new date in August. That means the Speyside will run earlier in the year,
in April. Next year’s final round will also be much earlier with the Galloway
Hills reverting to a September date.
The organisers have also revealed details of some new initiatives
to try and encourage more drivers to do more events.
