British and World motorsports stars and cars will be on parade next
week at the NEC in Birmingham at the Autosport International show which opens
on Thursday 10th/Friday 11th January for Trade and Licence Holders, before the
two full Public days on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th.
Thursday and Friday are usually the best days for those involved to do
business, but this year the 2019 FIA World Rally Championship will be having
its official launch on the first public day on Saturday. This might just pose a
problem for those who normally attend on the Trade days but want to see the WRC
show. Saturday is likely to be awfy busy with those wanting to get up close and
personal with the likes of Kris Meeke in a Toyota shirt for the first time and
Sebastien Ogier in Citroen colours- and of course other stars of the National
stage! That might mean a two-day visit
for some.
No doubt there will a strong representation from Scotland mixing with
the world stars as M-Sport World Rally Team, Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally
Team, Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team and Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World
Rally Team will all unveil their 2019 rally cars on Saturday morning in front
of show visitors. WRC2 and the Junior World Rally Championship will also be
represented.
Dayinsure Wales Rally GB will also form part of the rally celebrations,
with cars and drivers from both the world and British Rally Championships in
attendance.

with the show organisers to offer competition licence holders, licensed
officials and registered marshals an exclusive £5 discount on trade tickets.

trade days on 10-11 January, designed for members of the motorsport industry to
meet, network and do business. These cost £30 in advance or £32 on the door but
Motorsport UK and show organisers Motorsport Network are pleased to offer
